Job Number RS1194      Well established full service insurance agency (90% commercial accounts) seeks Producers/Sales Agents - Entry Level and Experienced. The Producers/Sales Agent will help families and members of the business community who are looking for insurance policies, and will be responsible for the sale of life, auto, general liability and property and casualty insurance. 
 
Skills and Specifications
Good communication skill along with strong convincing power. Personable, charismatic, able to understand the need and requirement of clients.  Capable of maintaining long-term relation with the clients.  Will generate leads through prospecting, cold calls, cold canvas, networking, e-mails, business and social organization participation. Experienced producers should have a successful track record and possess thorough knowledge of all the insurance policies and pros and cons related to them. Producers with book are particularly valued. A NYS Broker's license is required.

Education and Qualifications
A Baccalaureate or MBA degree and additional coursework in insurance is preferred for entry level producers.  Entry level producers will be required to obtain a NYS broker's license. Base can be extended for a period of time until activity generates draw against commission.

Will consider training entry level person with good sales personality and motivation.
